Dumpster Day

Dumpster Day is the first Wednesday of every month at the City Garage, located at 10 Parkway Drive. For more information, please see Recycling.


Pool

The DuBois City Pool will be opening on May 27, 2023, at Noon. Pool passes are available at the Municipal Building until May 26, 2023, at 3 p.m., after May 26th you will be able to purchase them at the pool.

Prices until May 26th are as follows:

Family (4 Adults, 2 Children) – $175

Adult (Over 18 Yrs. Old) — $125

Youth (1 – 18 Yrs. Old) — $100

Senior (Over 60 Yrs. Old) — $75

Prices after May 26th are as follows:

Family — $200

Adult — $150

Youth — $120

Senior — $75

Pool hours are Sunday — Saturday Noon to 7 p.m., weather permitting.

Garbage Pick Up

The City of DuBois ONLY bills your garbage, we do not pick it up. If your garbage is not picked up by 3 p.m. on your normal garbage day, please call Waste Management at 1-800-338-8971

Anti-Skid

The City of DuBois is reminding every person in charge or control of any buildings or lots of land fronting or abutting on a paved sidewalk, whether as owner, tenant, occupant, lessee, or otherwise, that they shall remove and clear away or cause to be removed or cleared away all anti-skid material that has accumulated on so much of said sidewalk as is in the front of or abuts on said buildings or lots of land, ON OR BEFORE MAY 15th OF EACH YEAR.

Also, it shall be unlawful to scatter, spill, dump or drop, or permit to be scattered, spilled, dumped or dropped, any soil, sand, stone, dirt, grass clippings, leaves, debris, refuse, litter, or other substance of any kind, including liquids and chemicals, upon streets, alleys and thoroughfares.

The above are portions of City of DuBois Ordinance No. 1599, passed on July 26, 1999. Any violation of this Ordinance is subject to a fine as detailed in the Ordinance.
