The Tax Collector is responsible for the collection and receipt of public monies as provided by law. This includes City, County, School and Per Capita Taxes. We collect current year real estate taxes for Clearfield County, City of DuBois and DuBois School District. The County and City taxes are collected in the spring and mailed at the beginning of March. School real estate and Per Capita taxes are collected in the fall and are mailed at the beginning of August.
All local taxes can be paid by check, cash or money order at the Treasury Department located at 35 W. Scribner Avenue, DuBois, PA. For your convenience, use the drive-thru lane closest to the building. Utility bill payments and all City monies collected by and for various City departments also are received at the Treasury Department.
The City Treasurer is responsible for the disbursement of public monies as provided by law.
