Dial 911 in an emergency!

The DuBois Fire Department is a 100% volunteer organization comprised of courageous men and women from the City of DuBois. The Department answers calls for help 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

-Operating six engines, one truck and one rescue vehicle out of its five Fire Stations
-Department is ready to respond to any and all emergencies at a moment’s notice
-The Volunteers work hard to provide the best First Responders found anywhere.

With that in mind, the Volunteer Fire Department was honored in 1998 to receive an Insurance Service Office (ISO) Public Protection Classification (PPC) rating of one. The Department is one of only two volunteer Fire Departments in the nation with this rating and, to this day, the only Fire Department — career or volunteer – holding a PPC rating of one in the State of Pennsylvania.
